Fifth-seeded Secaucus logged seven six-point victories in its eight bout wins during its 45-33 win against fourth-seeded Hasbrouck Heights in Hasbrouck Heights in the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA/Rothman Orthopaedics North Jersey, Section 2, Group 1 Wrestling Tournament.

Secaucus (14-8) led 33-12 through eight bouts thanks to wins by fall from Massimo Iacopelli (285), Joe Leon (106) and Dean Costantino (126). Andy Osmanaj (220) and Bryan Lopez (120) collected wins by forfeit as Alex Tejada (195) won by decision to help build the early advantage.

Hesham Mohamed (182), Andrew Parente (113), Drew Scuilla (132), Hunter Freschi (145) and Max Castro (160) had the bonus-point victories for Hasbrouck Heights. Christian Lopez (170) accounted for the other three points in the loss with a win by decision.

Secaucus will visit top-seeded Delaware Valley in the semifinal round on Wednesday in Alexandria.
